## Michael Rees

Chief Financial Officer

As CFO, Michael is responsible for managing SummitIG’s network operations and financial activities. With over 20 years in the telecommunications industry, he brings strong leadership and valuable experience to SummitIG.

Prior to joining the team, Michael worked for GTS Central Europe (acquired by Deutsche Telekom) where he held the roles of SVP of Corporate Development and Managing Director of GTS Romania. Earlier, he held senior executive positions at Cavalier Telephone and OnFiber Communications (acquired by Qwest Communications). He also provided due diligence and strategic consulting to private equity firms and telecoms carriers throughout Europe and the Middle East for Hardiman Telecommunications. Michael is a former board member of BENESTRA, previously GTS Slovakia.

Michael holds a BA in Economics and Mathematics from Boston University and an MBA from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University.
